The WINKHAUS AV3 Optional Day Switch provides easy activation/deactivation of the mechanical daytime latch release with just a simple click, simultaneously blocking the magnet's release, allowing for entry from outside without the need for a key. It is suitable for use with the Winkhaus AV3 Multipoint Lock, and also conventional mortice locks and other multipoint locking systems (however, it is not suitable for use with other automatic locking systems). It conveniently integrates into the central keep making it easily retrofittable, and is quick and simple to assemble with no need for wiring.
